During this professional development and networking event, we will be honoring the local New York State English Council Educators of Excellence and our Kenneth Gambone Writing Contest winners.

Our featured presenter is local author, Gina Mingoia, who will share her experiences, inspirations, and the power of writing as a path toward healing through her discussion, “On Perseverance, Writing, and Healing.”

LILAC Mini-Grant Program

Applications will be accepted from October 24, 2022 through December 9, 2022.

LILAC offers two annual mini-grant awards for $500 each, one elementary and one secondary. The members of our Mini-Grant Committee review all applications and choose the best ideas to support the learning needs of a targeted group of students or of a larger population.
