"Clarifying Misconceptions and Building Bridges Between Balanced Literacy and The Science of Reading" with Erik Lepis
Erik Lapis joined the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project as a staff developer where he worked in schools nationally, providing literacy support and training -- helping teachers implement reading and writing workshops in their classrooms. This session’s conversation aims to help teachers and administrators create a space for teaching where science, research, rigor, and joy reside in the teaching of reading.

LILAC Mini-Grant Program
Applications will be accepted from October 24, 2022 through December 9, 2022.
LILAC offers two annual mini-grant awards for $500 each, one elementary and one secondary. The members of our Mini-Grant Committee review all applications and choose the best ideas to support the learning needs of a targeted group of students or of a larger population.
